I've always had a liking to fashion and designing. Ever since I was very little, I've always wanted to be a fashion designer. Never got tired of the passion for fashion.

Every chance I got to design something, I'd take it. It's as if the job was made for me. Every opportunity I'd get to solidify a design, I'd take it. For me, it's really an honor to be able to wear something I designed and.. just looked good in it. The feeling's great.

January 2012, it was my aunt's grand birthday. I received an invitation. Venue was at the Inter Continental hotel and attire was... a gown. I was very happy and excited because it would have been my first time EVER wearing a gown. My cousin was going to have her gown made and she brought me to her seamstress. When I met the seamstress, all I had been talking about was how I wanted the gown to look and that I wanted it all in purple since it was my favorite color. I kept it flowy and there was pleating in the front as well as a floral belt in the same shade.

After my tita's party, I was kind of sad because I thought it would be the last time I'd have a gown. Then a few months later, I was asked to be a junior bridesmaid at my cousin's wedding. I was very happy for my cousin since she was getting married, and of course, I'd have to wear a gown. HEHE. The motif was an aqua shade of blue since it was her favorite color. Since everyone in the family was aware I loved designing, I was allowed to design my own gown for this very event. I wanted to add some details at the front so that it wouldn't look plain. It was a A line dress with some floral designs. The wedding was on August 2012. I wore the gown on the wedding. It was such an honor!

October the next year, I was invited to the anniversary party of my family's company, Loyola. The theme was blue. I chose this color scheme for the elegance it portrayed. There was a large ribbon at the back as well since ribbons were trendy during that time.

November the next year, it was the Loyola anniversary season. I definitely knew what I wanted. I chose this color scheme because it seemed so elegant. I liked how the bottom was just flowing a nude color. As for the top, I pinned a floral pin on top of the right shoulder so I wouldn't look plain. This design was actually inspired by something I saw on the internet.

CHORALE. In chorale competitions, each choir is require to have a costume that everybody would wear. I was very honored and proud to have designed the choir gowns that every girl in the Augustinian Singers would eventually wear. It was first worn by the whole choir during October 2015, during the Voices In Harmony competition, held in Mirriam College. The ombre of Red and Gold were inspired by the CSA colors. It also showed the flaming heart which burns for the search of truth. The cut out at the back showed sopistication as it showed skin, but very minimal. It's a simple design yet symbolic.

There were 2 events on the way. This year's Loyola anniversary and my niece's wedding. The theme for this year's anniversary was blue and pink. Meanwhile, for my nieces wedding, it was lilac. The dates were very tight and I didn't want to spend so much for making gowns. So I thought, "Why not just make a gown so pretty and usable for both events?" It was an excellent idea. Violet is a combination of blue and red. The fabric of the gown had some pink touch in it and some purple. As soon as I saw it, I said to myself, "This is it." The backless design was inspired my my ballet leotards and tutus which were often with a low back cut. The design in the front was just simple so it wouldn't attract so much attention. Showing some skin yet keeping it simple. I loved the idea.

These were all the gowns I have designed and had made so far. Im very excited to add more to my collection.
