ST. FRANCIS SQUARE SHOPPING HAUL By Xandra

Soooo my latest adventure is..... St. Francis Square!!! It's located behind SM Megamall. It's actually like divisoria but nearer especially for people that live in San Juan or Makati, especially that SM Megamall is along EDSA only. The prices are also 168 price! Like the 168 in divi. This is in the 2nd floor when you take the elevator by the way. (I went to the third floor then took the stair going down by one floor hehe)

I actually went there to buy culottes and slacks since I need formal clothes for school. So the first thing I looked for when I got there were culottes. I found them in a store that sells slacks and pants.

The culottes were sold for only 350PHP each! I got 2 pairs in 2 colors : black and white. These colors are really versatile and I can match these with my tops well. It has a smooth fabric and is stretchable. It comes with two pockets at the front too.

I got na rin slacks in the same store. It was like 350 to 400PHP a pair. I got brown since my formal tops are light colored and the fabric was really nice.

Since I got 3 pairs of pants from her, the tindera sold everything to me for 1000PHP!

My ate got one in black na rin. The lady sold the pants to her for 350PHP. Still cheaper than mall price.

Next thing I got was an off shoulder top. I think it's called a flare top. It looks well on me and it hides my fat arms. These were on sale for 200PHP. These tops on instagram are for 180-200PHP but you still have to pay for shipping.

Then I found this tank top. I need more of these to be honest. This is also really nice because it's thick and it feels durable. It also has lining and adjustable straps this was the last of this item and it was being sold for 280PHP

Short kwento, I just ran out of pambahay shorts. Last week, I didn't have shorts anymore since it was all in the laundry. This made me feel the urgency to buy more house shorts, so I did.

I got these shorts for 50 PHP each. It's nice, it has a ribbon and lace on the bottom and it's stretchable. So kaway kaway sa mga malalaki ang hita just like me! I spent 150 PHP for these 3 pairs.

White culottes
Black culottes
Brown slack (first 3 items for 1000 PHP)
Black slacks 350 PHP
Black off shoulder top 200 PHP
White tank top 280 PHP
Pink shorts 50 PHP
Brown shorts 50 PHP
Grey shorts 50 PHP
All in all, I spent 1980 PHP, and I used the change as fare.

So I would recommend all of you to shop here if you have the time especially if you are shopping in a budget or for a one time use. I definitely enjoyed shopping here.

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES RECIPE By Xandra

So lately, I've been selling sweets. I have not really made any for myself AT ALL. So I decided to give myself a treat... tada!

Ingredients:

1 1/4 cups all purpose flour

1/4 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

A stick of butter (Like half of the big chunk)

5 1/2 tbsp white sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 small egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

chocolate chips (up to you cause i actually just madethis to finsih my choco chips at home)

I kept the first 3 ingredients on my list in a small bown and kept aside. Then, with a hand mixer, I creamed the butter with the sugars. When that was done, I broke the egg then added the vanilla. After it was so thick already, I then folded in the choco chips. I used an ice cream scoop to do the job for me. By the way, my oven was on 350 degrees already since I baked cupcakes before this. This took me like 10 minutes to get this so fudgey.

It's really easy to burn cookies so be careful. Hope you guys enjoy making this recipe <3

AVON Ultra Color Lip Crayon Review by Xandra

So this is the packaging of the new AVON Ultra Color Lip crayon. I bought one out of curiosity. I'm not really an AVON use so I wouldn't really know of the quality. First of all, I really like the packaging. It looks sophisticated and all with it being black and showing its color on the one end

I got my lip crayon in the shade "Just Rosy". The color on the  package reminds me of a coral shade I would have in other brands.

Still looks kinda coral to me but let me try it out

This is how the color looks. It gives of a really rosy color and its kinda glossy. It's not matte at all.

I like how it looks on my face. It's kind of a natural color to me. Looks good. It also doesn't look so makeup-py on my face bare.

I think I could sport it even for just going out.

I added on some makeup here and it really looks like it has dimension.

I tried on a super light rosy look and it went well with the lippie. The eyes just had a shade of champagne and brown with some blush.

I actually really liked this lip stick and it's color. It also lasts long. I think I'll be using it for quite a while.

Black and White by Xandra

I really love this outfit. It's black, white, and really chic. This outfit is great for going out on something formal or just going out. I really like how crop tops look on something high waisted.

I matched up this black crop blouse on my white long skirt, which has a zipper at the back. The zipper stands out cause everything is neutral. I was also choosing whether to wear black pumps or these boots on this outfit. I ended up choosing these black velvet boots since its makes it look really sophisticated cause it covers more. The outfit doesn't cover too much cause it uses a crop top amd the heels make the legs look longer.

As for my accessories, I used this bag from Salvatore Ferragamo (not sure if it's spelled right) since it was black. The fedora too looked cute with the outfit. I also matched a pair of shades I got from Sunnies and hung it in the blouse.

PROM DRESS (A Night's Dress) by Xandra

Prom. Everyone crazes about it. I admit, I did too.

~~~

I've always dreamed of designing my own dress for prom and I've been waiting for this moment since...I don't even remember anymore. This is a picture of the sketch I came up with for my dress.

Prom diet

I've been really set on wearing this design. I really wanted to look good on this. So to get slimmer, I workout out alot and had alot of restriction on what I ate.

My whole preparation was like this:

Monday: Hit the gym

Tuesday: Ballet

Wednesday: Hit the gym

Thursday: Hit the hym

Friday: Ballet

Saturday: Ballet

As for meals:

Breakfast: Hard boiled eggs

Lunch: Saba bananas

Dinner: Soup or Salad

I kept that up for like a month or two and the results for me were great!

When I got my dress for prom, I was really happy because it was exactly how I sketch it!

~~~

I felt so ready for the night! Another thing I really loved about the dress was the flowers at the bottom. Since the promenade was themed like some sort of enchanted garden or flower, Valeria 2016, I really wanted my dress to be in theme and it looked great!

This, forever, will be engraved in my heart as a lovely memory.

Ballerinas are known to be very graceful and flexible... and maybe the bunheads!

~~~

It takes lots of practice and hard work to become a ballerina. Just like any other sport, you need to train. It also takes patience to get better.

~~~

It's not just a sport, it's an art. It's beautiful. Another beautiful component would be the famous tutus.

~~~

That's not just the only thing that beautifies the art. The shoes are also magnificent. As lovely as it looks, it takes so much to achieve.

Pointe shoes are what they're called.

~~~

They've been around for a very long time. To think ballet has been around since 1681. Ballet shoes used to have heels then later on evolved into flat shoes in order for dancers to make higher jumps.

~~~

Yet, as serious as dancing is, the shoes itself are also very beautiful to look at. Nowadays, leather shoe manufacturers are inspired by this design to make their own flats which look dazzling.

It's very stylish as well.

Flavours of Matanzas by Xandra

So last week, I was aching to try out a karindiria. My brother told me about this place he was really amused about. It was a karindiria which served stuff like steak, buttered fish fillet and even wine! I was really dying to try this place out. Better, it was in the Makati area, near where I live.

One day, after school, my brother picked me up from school and we went here to eat dinner. It's called Flavours of Matanza, near Cash and Carry. For starters, it's called Flavours of Matanzas because it's on Matanzas street.

It's actually just a garage with an eatery in it but fairly enough, everything was nicely put in place. I totally did not expect this.

The cooking area is out in the open where the customers could see it well.

~~~

As classy as the menu sounds, it's quite affordable here. 

~~~

My brother and I had ordered their 

Fish Fillet in Lemon Butter Sauce, 

Ossobucco,  

and the Danggit Bai.

We had ice cream for dessert. This place caters one of my favorite ice cream brands, Big Scoop. One reason I love this brand is because they have my favorite ice cream flavor, green tea. To my surprise, it was actually available in Flavours of Matanzas that night.

After dinner, we sat down and had a nice chat. The owners of the place approached us to ask us how was the food. It was definitely delicious! The owners were also really nice and accommodating people.

 I'd definitely be back again. It's a chill place, definitely perfect for bringing family and friends.
